Hello CAL Members,

Welcome to this most beautiful time of the year. The sun is shining, the flowers are blooming, robins are nesting and children are frolicking on thick green grass. OOOPS, I'm not in California, am I? Well, the robins are nesting under our eaves so one out of four is not bad.

If you have not visited Bizarre Bazaar lately, please drop in. We are proudly displaying two unrestored carousel horses from the Carousel of Smiles project. This forgotten 1920's carousel arrived in Sandpoint November 25th, 2016. If you would like more information you may view this story on Facebook or Youtube.

I would like to give a huge shout out to Cheri Warber for involving CAL in this unique project. Both Cheri and Diane Arrants spent Sunday, March 26th at the store while the shelf for them was being installed. Thank you ladies. We love our store managers.

At the last Board meeting we discussed security for our store. Diane has been talking with security companies. We will make a decision after more information is available.

Our Easter season will soon be here. A time for renewal in all things, a time to remember, to celebrate and to enjoy all of life's blessings. I hope the Easter bunny is good to you.

If you are special enough to receive a chocolate bunny, always nibble his ears first. This is a tradition. Speaking of chocolate...

Earth Day is observed on April 22nd. SAVE THE EARTH -- IT'S THE ONLY PLANET WITH CHOCOLATE.

Have a wonderful weekend and see you at our Spring Luncheon!
