Social Committee Corner

Hi Members,

We appreciate the enthusiasm with which you supported Santa at the Chrismas Luncheon. We were able to present a check to Ellen Weissman & Loris Michael for $646 to help support the Daybreak Center in Sandpoint.

 

The Social Committee would like to invite you to attend the 1st Annual Love Yourself Goddess Night on Monday February 13th, at 5:00 p.m. at 41 South Restaurant. The cost will be $30, which includes a full dinner with salad, entrée, dessert, coffee and tea, and gratuity. There will also be a full no-host bar. This is a limited space event and is filling up quickly. We are allowing only CAL members to sign up until January 24th when we will open it up to friends and guests if there is space available. This is a night dedicated to the celebration of women, friendship and the feminine spirit. It is a dress up/costume event. We want you to express the inner you and dress as simple or complex as you'd like. Some themes to think about are colors, seasons, eras, decades, regions, hobbies, superheroes, and famous women of past and present. The "Advanced Style" photo album may give you some inspiration. Our board members 'dressed up' to honor a group of charming ladies from NYC that were the subjects of a movie and book presented at one of our meetings. This event, just in time for Valentine's Day, will be fun for all. Love yourself, your friends and come out and celebrate you!
