CAL's WEBSITE has Transitioned to the next Version!

If you haven’t visited CAL’s Website this week, the site has now transitioned to the newest version. It looks quite good (if I say so myself!). Just a few things to remember:

  1. “Member Login” is located in the upper right hand of the home page. (see attached photo).
  2. Included are some new menu items (under our CAL logo/banner at the top). For instance, our CAL Membership Application is also available here (in addition to the lower right where it has it’s own category).
  3. “Member Photo Albums” is a new menu item. There are two albums that can be viewed there at this time: pictures from the Kinderhaven lunch and from the Christmas Lunch at Western Pleasure Ranch. These albums require you to be logged on to protect privacy. The original link to the pictures on FLICKR is now on the leftmost pane; clicking on the CAL Logo will navigate to the site.
  4. “Stories” on the menu bar will display previous bulletin stories. It has not totally been decided how many stories will be there, but for now it has stories from the last two bulletins.
  5. Member user menus (after you logon to the website) are still the same for member functions (emailing and reviewing/updating your member information).
  6. Our website is available at calsandpoint.org. (.com is not available at this time)
  7. The Bulletin is now a standalone item now, so it's appearance is different than under the prior version and no longer has the complete website contents listed.

Take a tour of the new ‘look’ and functions. The site looks a bit different, but the information is still there from the previous version. As with any new system/process there are some things that will likely be 'tweaked' over time. If you have input or there are any links that need to be fixed let me know.
