Vice-President's Corner

Good day dear CAL members,

It was wonderful to see our first General Meeting of the year so well attended. Thank you to our President, Sherry Fulton, for her informative and well organized morning. She rocks.

My garage is filling with boxes. Your generous donation of children's books will be a lovely addition to Bonner County's Day of Hope event. Please join us in giving a bit of your time. If you have volunteered for the October 3 event, please save October 2 for the Volunteer Rally, held at the First Christian Church, 201 Division Avenue at 7:00 p.m.

October 23rd is our second annual wine tasting event at Trinity. Lin Otey and her committee are planning a lovely evening. Sign ups are now at BB.

2014 CAL Tree

 

 

Believe it or not the holiday season is just around the corner. The Kinderhaven Festival of Trees is now in the planning stages. The date for the luncheon is December 4th,11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tickets are $45.00 each. I will be selling tickets at the October general meeting. This year's events will be held at the Bonner County Fairgrounds. CAL will be continuing its tradition of creating a beautiful Christmas tree to be auctioned. If you would like to be apart of this year's committee please email or call me.
