Vice Presidents Corner

Dear Members,

PAWS FOR A CAUSE, the Poker Dog Walk, is coming up on June 3 at Dover Bay. Proceeds from the event will go to Sandpoint’s Community Cancer Services. If you would like to be on the committee, please contact me---the more the merrier. I will be asking for volunteers for day of the walk at the May meeting. If you have any spare dog-related items languishing on shelves or just feel like spending a bit at the local pet store, you can bring them into Bizarre Bazaar. There is a tub in the clubroom for your donations.

The Beginner Quilt class is going strong. Michele has those women sewing up a storm at the Library. If you have any yardage that would be  appropriate for children’s quilts - pastels, primary colors, kids’ prints - please drop them off in the Blankie basket at Bizarre Bazaar.  Michele requests 1/4 yd or larger pieces; she says they are not yet ready for those little squares and triangles.
