BIZARRE BAZAAR
NEWS
NEWS

Dear Volunteers, Meteorologically, Spring starts in a week, on March 1st. (Astrologically it is the 20th.) Personally, I am going for the 1st! And Bizarre Bazaar is ready. Early Spring clothing and décor are hitting the floor, flowers are appearing, and colors are brightening. |
Reminders & A Date to Remember!
- We will no longer be putting out any heavy winter items, even though we still have snow on the ground. It is hard for us to store your winter items until later in the year, so if possible, please hold onto them or other seasonal items as storage becomes a premium. We are ready for spring and summer items that no longer bring you joy.
- Quality check!
Both volunteers and customers have brought to our attention merchandise (mostly clothing) that is dirty, stained, damaged, missing buttons or not ironed. Sorters, pricers, and ironers, please be vigilant. Our motto is "Upscale Resale", and our merchandise needs to reflect that.
- Customer Service!
During the slower winter days, we have more time to greet, engage, and thank our customers and donors. They are our lifeblood. Let us show that we care about them.
- Bi-Annual Team Leader and Department Head Meeting
Scheduled for March 26th at 3:30 p.m. at Bizarre Bazaar.
Anyone interested in seeing what a team leader does is invited to attend.

On another note: Nominations are now open for Women of Wisdom. There is more information in the Break Room or contact Cherie Warber at my email: cherwarb@gmail.com for more information.
January and February have been slower months, which is typical of winter throughout Sandpoint. We appreciate those of you who have come in and helped with a multitude of more organizational tasks. Because of you, we are ready for the Spring and Summer onslaught! Thank you for all you do.
With Great Appreciation,
Cherie Warber, Carol Visger, Donna Hutter, Ann Nichols
