BIZARRE BAZAAR
NEWS

Dear Volunteers,

Those beautiful Indian summer days are long gone, and now it is definitely Fall. Inside Bizarre Bazaar it is toasty warm and full of sweaters, fall decorations, and cozy jackets. Next week there will be turtlenecks and coats!

The chilly winds and rain have not deterred our customers at all. Sales have been brisk, and we have been busy. That is why we need you, dear volunteers, to help with donations and customers. Pick a day, pick a team leader, and please sign upon our Volunteer Module on our website - either directly or on our Clubrunner Application!

Since we are thinking of coats, there have been two puffer coats left near the lunchroom since Spring. If you are wondering where your coat went, you might want to check them out. If no one claims them, they will go on the floor for sale. We do not want you to be left out in the cold!

Dates to Remember!

Christmas Decorating, Sunday, November 9th
Christmas Shop opens Monday, November 10th
After Hours Party, Bizarre Bazaar, Friday, November 14th

Reminders!
  • Please make sure the steamer and iron are unplugged after use. The Sunday crew last week found our new iron plugged in and hot Sunday morning. Oops!

  • Wrinkled clothing needs to be pressed before hitting the floor. This morning, we found a pair of pants on the sales floor that looked as though they had been wadded up in the bottom of a bag.

  • Please do not overfill boxes with pass-on items. We treasure our “pass-on angels” and would prefer not to kill them with large or over-filled boxes.

Even though most people’s summer guests have gone home, our shop is still busy with customers. We would also be delighted to see you, our volunteers, as well. Please sign up on our Volunteer Scheduling Tool! We look forward to seeing you.

I keep hearing lovely comments from customers about the appearance of our store, the quality of our merchandise, and the helpfulness and friendliness of our volunteers. Excellent job, everyone! You are the heart and soul of Bizarre Bazaar, and we appreciate what you do to make us who we are.

In great appreciation for all you do,

Cherie Warber, Carol Visger, Donna Hutter, Ann Nichols
