Dear Volunteers,

We are having a tough time realizing it’s June….and we are almost half way through 2017. The upside is that it is June and the winter of 2016/2017 is over. Whew!

But it is Spring, which is one of our busiest time for donations and we have been missing many of you lovely ladies at Bizarre Bazaar. We have too many days with too few volunteers and we need you to step up and step on over to the shop. We have a plethora (one of my favorite words) of bounty coming in and no one to process it. Lovely stuff! So please come and help out.

As you read in my email this week, we are gearing up for our Art Walk reception this coming Friday. If you have some time this week, we really need help preparing BB for the open house. If you love to clean, come on down - this is your time to shine! Just think, you probably won’t even break a sweat with our brand new A/C system.

Which brings us to a great segue……the delightful gentlemen, who installed our A/C, preset the thermostat to 73 degrees, which is the optimal temperature for our situation. Some helpful person decided to play with the thermostat and ended up setting it to 78 degrees. The delightful gentlemen came in to check up on how things were working and almost had apoplexy. Now the system is again set to 73 degrees and the keyboard is locked so it can’t be changed. Please do not try to turn the temperature up or down. If it starts to get warm, lower the front shades. If it is too cool, put on a sweater. Ironers, the divas of our lives, there are a couple of fans in your area to help cool yourselves down.

And this brings us back to this coming week and Art Walk. Besides cleaning souls, we really need ironers or steamers to come in and process the clothes we need to get out on the floor. You ladies are such a godsend! We love you! Come on down.

We so appreciate you and your participation!
