BIZARRE BAZAAR
OCTO
BER NEWS

Dear Volunteers,

From the looks of things out my window, fall has certainly arrived in all it’s wet glory. Time for rain coats and boots! And that means in Bizarre Bazaar as well. Rain jackets have been finding their way out to the floor and coats are soon to follow. Please keep in mind the majority of our customers will NOT be looking for linen shirts, crops or other summery items, so please do not put these items out. It’s all about staying warm and dry now!

The shop has been looking amazing and has been so very busy. Our daily receipts are looking good, ladies, so thank you and let’s keep up the great work. There are still a lot of donations coming in and you are working hard to get them out.

We do have the ability to be even more picky about our merchandise, so if you are sorting, remember that pickiness starts with you. We are building a rather nice reputation and we can keep it up by choosing the better items to sell. If you are getting the items ready for the floor please check that it is in great condition, it is clean and it works. And if you are displaying the items try not to overcrowd the floor. Artful displays sell so much better than a cluttered look and ladies, let me tell you, I have seen some absolutely amazing displays from you. Such Artistes!!

Bizarre Bazaar Christmas Transformation is Coming!

Don’t forget the date! November 5th starting at 9:30 a.m. This is the big day when Bizarre Bazaar elves transform our little shop in a dazzling, glittering, gorgeous Christmas wonderland. The more the merrier, and even if you feel there couldn’t be something you could do….wrong…there is always a project or two to fit your particular talents.

Following that on November 17th at 4:01 p.m. will be our annual “After Hours” Christmas party at the shop. This is our celebration for you and a guest to thank you for all the wonderful time you share with us during the year. More details will be available soon.

We so appreciate you and your participation!
