Dear Members,
It is disappointing that we were not able to have CAL’s September meeting last week. I looked forward to seeing everyone and hopefully return to some normalcy—though I am not sure what is normal now and into the future.
In any case, if we had met, I would have introduced you to the 2021-2022 CAL Board. I purposely chose a Board that has a variety of experiences with life, the community and CAL. Without going into my personal history, I have learned (the hard way) that organizations need a balance of “new and old blood.”

Hopefully the October CAL meeting will not have any hiccups as face-to-face is soooo much better.
