CAL's Blankie Project, has a new request for anyone interested in making Infant Swaddles for Bonner General Health. You can get four swaddles from 2 yards of fabric. I would suggest a light fleece as it is more forgiving when hemming the curves. Hancock Fabrics is having a Thanksgiving sale through Thanksgiving and a great Black Friday sale; coupons are available at hancockfabrics.com. Check the Bizarre Bazaar craft area, too. You can get the 2” velcro (hook and loop) tape on-line. A suggested site is “Country Brook” (http://www.countrybrookdesign.com/webbing-and-hardware/velcro-hook-and-loop) where you can get it in 10 yard lengths; it’s less expensive than buying it from a fabric store.
I will have some more patterns at BB by Monday afternoon. I will leave them in a folder on the Members shelf in the clubhouse.
