Hello everyone,

Waking up to blue sky and sunshine is sure to lift the spirits. Enjoy this gorgeous winter day.

I want to give Tina Reynolds a huge shout out and another hug. She took a long time vision of mine and brought it to reality with this year's CAL Festival tree. I was so excited and proud. Thank you to all the committee members for the time spent getting the decorations and display ready.

 

Barbee Buchanan's Kinderhaven tree once again is fabulous. The outdoor theme complete with a flickering campfire is priceless. Great job Barbee...

 

The luncheon was wonderful. The new venue looked outstanding. The Kinderhaven committee turned a fairground building into a fairyland. It was Champagne Worthy.

Tonight is the Festival Gala. If you are attending have a beautiful time. This event is a long time tradition. It shows how our little community so generously supports Kinderhaven and the children who live there.

Reminder, our CAL luncheon is on December 16th at Western Pleasure Ranch. We start the party at 11:00 a.m. The social committee is spending the night before you arrive. We'll try to be out of our PJs by then. Lin Otey and her committee has once again outdone themselves. It is always a MYSTERY as to what will be planned for your enjoyment. See you soon.
