Dear Members,
Yahoo, I think spring might be around the corner! It is so encouraging to have bright, sunny days and to experience more hours of daylight. I can’t wait to start seeing the peeping heads of early spring flowers.
Spring is a time for blooming and stretching. Please consider volunteering for Community Assistance League in some capacity. The most urgent need is volunteers assisting at Bizarre Bazaar. There are many ways to help out, even if dealing with customers isn’t your thing. Ask a Team Leader or Store Manager about needs for helping “behind the scenes”. Some in-store suggestions include: ironing, steaming, pricing, and sorting. Other suggestions include: Pass On crew (retrieving pass ons from the store and delivering them to other thrift stores), washing donated linens and clothing, or weeding and clearing the exterior grounds.
If you have finance, marketing, design, computing or other skills, they can be very useful with publications, advertising, fundraising or community service ideas. Let us know your interests and we will work on finding ways you can help. Thank you for being a part of our organization!
