Dear Members,
It’s hard to believe we are fast approaching Back To School again. Why do the summers seem to fly by?
Our team for developing Community Assistance League’s 5-year Strategic Plan has been busy getting a draft together. We presented to the CAL Board last week and believe we are on the right track documenting our goals, the strategies used to accomplish the goals, and ways to monitor our progress. I wish to thank my team members of Laura Fisher, Maxine Haun, and Toni Sommer, who have worked hard to get our draft together. We hope to be ready to present the plan to our general membership later this fall.
I hope everyone has had a safe, cool summer. Now, we just need to get past this smoke in the air!
