INFORMATION FOR 2022
Dear Members,
A very busy grants season is ending and yet the work is just beginning for 36 organizations. Thanks to the donors and shoppers—and especially the member volunteers—Bizarre Bazaar had a banner fiscal year, 2021-2022. We are able to give $150,000 throughout Bonner County, caring for people who need help, supporting projects that improve our quality of life, and generally making our home an even better place to live.
It has been my honor to serve as chair this year, and incoming-president Beth Drain tells me I’ll be doing it all again next year. My role is primarily administrative, facilitation, and a tad bit of encouragement. It’s a lot of work in a few action-packed months…but to see the results in good works all over this county…well, it makes my heart soar.

I have been a Community Assistance League member for only a year now, and I thank my lucky stars that I stumbled across this amazing organization. The women whose vision 43 years ago in 1979, birthed this powerhouse of 200 feisty, passionate women—my oh my. I’m delighted to be one of you. Enjoy your summer!
