Dear Members,
Greetings on a splendid day in North Idaho! Just a quick reminder of the upcoming Kinderhaven Festival of Trees luncheon to be held on December 3 at the Fairgrounds. CAL has three reserved tables at the event this year, and you may sign up at the November General meeting. Tickets are $50.00; a check made out to Kinderhaven is preferred, but cash will be accepted. Seats will be on a first come, first served basis. If you wish to attend with a special group of friends, consider a sponsored table for 8 at $650.00; with that you receive wine. If you wish to sponsor a table or sit with other friends, contact Jacinda Bokowy at 208-610-2208 for tickets.
Julia Kern is this year’s chair for our contribution to Kinderhaven’s Festival of Trees. The theme is "Dan le jardin” or "In the garden". She and her team are looking for anything with a garden theme be it vegetable or flower or plant. Some ideas are garden art, garden themed dishes or glassware, hand tools, large tools, garden bench, garden arbor, planters, soil, gloves of all sizes, wine (what good gardener doesn't like wine), garden books, cook books, gift certificates to nurseries, etc. Use your creative minds and really come up with some great items. Drop them off at BB by 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 16th. For any questions or if you would like to join in on the fun, call Julia Kern at 208-920-3286.
