First Lutheran Church - New Meeting Place
Dear Members,
Happy Fall, CAL members! It certainly came quickly and looks as if it is here to stay. Next Wednesday’s meeting brings a change to the new CAL year. We will be meeting at the First Lutheran Church at 526 S. Olive Avenue, meeting start time is 9:30 a.m.
Please drive around to the back parking lot for ample parking, and which no one is going to scold us for using. The meeting room is bright and airy and has an AV system that works! We are looking forward to meeting in this new space.
I am happy to announce that we have a new lease for Bizarre Bazaar! Negotiating the lease has been a long, drawn out process, but the papers have been signed and I am breathing a sigh of relief. You may have noticed that some improvements have been made: pressure washing, a beautiful back door and a French drain in the back. We are awaiting improvements to the parking lot.
As it will be our first meeting of the year, I hope to see many faces on Wednesday. In the meantime, enjoy the Fall and its changing colors.
