Volunteer Coordination News
Hi Members,
The Team Leader Grid has been revised. The Grid is located several places available to members.
- Above the paper calendar at the shop
- Available within the Volunteer Module Menu - https://calsandpoint.org/sitepage/volunteer-module - (on the homepage menu located just under the Organization Name and Logo)
- On our Organization Facebook Group - CAL Sandpoint, ID - open only to organization members. If you haven’t become a member of the page and want to access it, go to the link above and request membership.
Who is a Team Leader and what is a Team Leader Grid? With so many new members, a refresher might be helpful.
- The letters TL are noted after the names of all Team Leaders in ClubRunner for identification purposes only. (i.e. Sherry Ennis-TL)
- Note: The Volunteer Sign-Up Tool cannot differentiate who the actual TL is for the day…only the Team Leader Grid does that.
- Multiple Team Leaders may sign up to volunteer for the same day, BUT only one is the official Team Leader of that day. Therefore, you must reference the Team Leader Grid for that information.

What are the responsibilities of the Team Leader?:
- The Team Leaders “Open” and “Close" the shop including retrieving and replacing the till bag for the next shift.
- If you are cashiering and need assistance with additional change (both bills and change), you get it from your Team Leader.
- If you can’t find a replacement for your shift, you call your Team Leader.
- If something happens in the store that needs maintenance/repair, you contact your Team Leader.
- If you have a problem with how something is priced and need a price verification, you ask your Team Leader.
- Verify the number of volunteers is sufficient to cover their shifts.
The Team Leaders thank all the volunteers that take the time to use the online volunteer system. It helps the Team Leads to know how many volunteers have signed up for their shifts.
